Education
Lower Towamensing Township is served by the Palmerton Area School District which provides public education to the municipalities in the Palmerton Area. The PASD provides primary and secondary education, while allowing students the opportunity for technical training through the Carbon Career and Technical Institute in Jim Thorpe.
